Following the missing person report, both law enforcement and concerned villagers initiated a search operation to locate the missing minor. Their efforts culminated in a grim discovery – the lifeless body of the girl, submerged in the village well. This horrifying revelation has left the community in mourning and shock.

The family of the deceased girl wasted no time in filing a formal complaint with the police, accusing three young men of rape and murder. The gravity of the situation prompted immediate action by the Ramgarh police station.

The minor girl, originally hailing from Churu district, had been residing at her maternal home. Her family’s report of her disappearance set off a series of investigative efforts. The police, aided by CCTV footage and assistance from villagers, recovered her lifeless body from the village well on Sunday.

Post-Mortem Examination and Custody of Suspects

In coordination with the family’s consent, a post-mortem examination was conducted at Ramgarh Hospital. Meanwhile, the police took three individuals into custody based on the serious allegations raised by the family.

Dharna at Ramgarh Hospital

News of this tragic incident reached former MLA Nand Kishore Mahariya, who promptly arrived at Ramgarh Hospital with his family members to stage a dharna. Expressing his anguish, Mahariya emphasized the concerning rise in such incidents within the state, particularly the escalating number of rape cases. He called upon Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to take decisive action against such heinous crimes.

Family’s Ultimatum and Resolution

As the news of the dharna spread, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Pratap Vishnoi, Fatehpur Sub-Divisional Officer Kapil Upadhyay, and Fatehpur Sadar Police Station Officer Krishna Kumar Dhankhar rushed to the scene. They made concerted efforts to engage with the grieving family members, assuring them that their primary demands would be met.

The family’s demands include a compensation of Rs 25 lakh, the filing of serious charges against the accused, and the subsequent arrest of the suspects after the post-mortem report is available. The family members have given the police a three-day ultimatum to act on their demands.
