On their way to the boy’s school in Mansa, Punjab, a father, and son were riding a motorcycle when the father was attacked and severely beaten by a group of men in open daylight.
Six individuals were at the scene
some were already there, while the others followed the man’s bike and stopped when they saw him. In the disturbing footage, the father is severely thrashed with sticks in front of the child and others.

Then, the police take action
Law enforcement officials investigated the incident and charged the perpetrators with IPC 307 (Attempt to Murder). The incident was thought to be motivated by a grudge between the two individuals.

One of the attackers pulled the young boy from his father, and he saw the fight from a safe distance. Visuals showed a few other parents dropping off their children at the school and sending them inside, suggesting that the incident occurred directly in front of the school.
After locking his collar and dragging him to the ground, the perpetrators mercilessly hit the father over the head with his sticks as soon as he got out of the car to drop off his son.
One of the women there attempted to speak up for the victim. She and a few others allegedly approached the man after the six men had left the premises, having wounded the father out of jealousy.
