Bihar: According to alarming reports, a journalist was killed in the Araria area on Friday morning. Vimal Kumar Yadav, a reporter for Dainik Jagran, was found dead. Unknown assailants opened fire on him at his home today.

After the gunshot, there was a massive commotion in the area. After receiving the news, local authorities and police raced to the scene.

Specifics of the Scenario

 

The slain journalist’s home is in Prem Nagar, Raniganj of Araria, and he was believed to be murdered there. He was summoned outside of his home by four riders on bicycles.

After shooting him, they ran away. The bullet wound ultimately proved fatal. His wife and two children, ages 13 and 15, are inconsolable because Vimal has abandoned them.

Vimal Kumar’s brother allegedly met the same fate in 2019. He testified for the prosecution and defense alike. This is the primary direction that the investigation into Vimal Kumar’s murder is taking.

The police started looking into the situation immediately. The Araria Sadar Hospital morgue received Kumar’s body for examination. Police have told the local media that the true motive for the murder won’t be known until after the inquiry is complete.

SP Araria As soon as Ashok Kumar Singh arrived, he called the media to report his learning. He verified that Vimal Kumar Yadav had been murdered by gunmen who remained anonymous.

Singh also said that a dog squad had been dispatched to the crime scene and that a postmortem was underway. Supt. Ashok Kumar Singh of Araria has stated that an investigation has begun and that steps are being taken to apprehend those responsible.
