Late in November and early December 2022, fans continuously asked if Alan Jackson, an American country music singer, was dead. We discovered the claim was a hoax by looking at several Facebook posts.
One of them said, 5 minutes ago, we reported unfortunate news about the 64-year-old artist Alan Jackson. This was not the case. Jackson was not dead, and there was no reliable news that he was sick or in a hospital getting treatment.

While looking into this very similar death hoax about the country music star, Snopes noticed again that the same people who spread the death hoax about Willis were accidentally putting Jackson’s name in the captions of posts about the actor, and vice versa.
The links in those posts led to websites that appeared to host malware. Snopes took the links from the posts and ran them through the free malicious URL scanner on IP Quality Score. The scan found that the links were “precarious,” with a score of 85 out of 100. (The links are considered more dangerous the higher the score.)
The fake stories about Jackson, Willis, and Cowell came from the same sources. Many other famous people were part of the death fake network. Many of them said similar things on YouTube.
We suggest doing an easy search on Google News to find out if a famous person or other significant person is dead. If a well-known person dies, the news will be out from reputable sources in a matter of hours.

We looked into more information about the rumor. Famous people often hear that they have died. This time, a report is going around the internet that Alan is dead. All of this started when a website called FNEWS2 put out a story called:
“With a heavy heart as we report the sad news of 64-year-old Singer Alan Jackson.”
The story, which came out on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, only has a headline and a picture of the singer, along with the words “RIP Alan Jackson.”
Fans and followers often fall for this kind of news, but you shouldn’t believe it unless it comes from a trusted source. One should also report fake news because it can spread and make people think things that are not true.
