Final Destination 6: An upcoming American horror film is titled “Final Destination 6.” Patrick Melton, Marcus Dunstan, and Jeffrey Reddick penned the piece. Tony Todd promised in 2011 that two simultaneous sequels would be filmed if Final Destination 5 did well at the box office.
The announcement of the sixth film in the franchise came in 2019. Prior to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, on October 5, 2020, creator Jeffrey Reddick announced that production on a sixth Final Destination film was underway.
Final Destination 6: Release Date
Final Destination 6 hasn’t been given a date yet. During the coronavirus outbreak, many productions have been put on hold, so we probably won’t hear anything soon.
The movie should come out in 2022.

Jeffrey Reddick has been giving advice to the team behind Final Destination 6 while working on his first movie as a director, Don’t Look Back. He seems to want to make the series new again in some way…
Final Destination 6: Plot
The plots of all the Final Destination movies are the same. A bunch of young people is trying to get away from death after someone is in a big accident. One of them has a vision of what will happen to them and stops it from happening.
This person is able to save a few of the people who are going to die in a disaster that ends up killing many. But as they avoided a death that had been planned for them, the survivors started dying one by one in strange accidents that were set in motion by Death himself.
Fans wonder if the Final Destination Reboot will be able to live up to the potential of its predecessors since it was said that the next movie would be a “re-imagining” of the franchise.
But Jeffrey Reddick, the mind behind the franchise, said in a recent interview with Bloody Disgusting that the new movie won’t be a straight reboot. He said,
“If the formula isn’t broken, don’t change it. But my point is that Death could use any of the ideas in my head. Like, we see one design that looks like a Rube Goldberg machine. But there are so many ways Death could get us. In my original story, which was a little scary because I like Nightmare on Elm Street, Death played with their minds because of some sin or wrongdoing they did, and they ended up killing themselves.
So, that was kind of sad. I don’t think I’d want to make that movie now, but I think Death’s world would be fun to explore, kind of like what we did with the second one. I want to say more about the myths. If I came back, I’d want to do something different.”
Final Destination 6: Trailer
Make an effort to innovate and push the genre forward if you must make a sequel. While it was never realized, the concept of a found-footage Final Destination was intriguing to me. The extraordinary 3-D in FD5 brought viewers right into Death’s game of cat and mouse. That being said, what should we do now? There’s no denying that New Line Cinema has forgotten about its massive horror franchises; they even gave Paramount Pictures the rights to Jason Voorhees so they could make their own Friday the 13th film.
While their primary motivation is financial gain, you can also benefit from keeping your fans satisfied. Fans would love to see a new Final Destination, Freddy vs. Jason, and even more installments of Elm Street.
Producer Craig Perry reportedly wants New Line to make a sixth Final Destination film, and he has already released a concept trailer for it online.
Final Destination 6: The Dark Age, a fun concept trailer by Alexander McNeill, transports the idea of avoiding death to the Middle Ages. “ Okay, here’s a good time. A conversation I had with Final Destination producer Craig Perry about where the series could go sparked the idea for this cut of a concept trailer for the sixth film in the series.
Over twenty different movies and TV shows were used to create this trailer. The plan is to use “Game of Thrones” as inspiration and place the action in 12th-century Europe.
Take a peek at what the next possible Final Destination could be like…”
Thoughts? There are now countless avenues open to us, including the possibility of death in outer space (Gravity should get people thinking).
