Today, September 5: Jammu. Officials in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir have announced the arrest of four people in connection with a viral video showing men taking a woman from her home and beating her. They said the event happened in the village of Dewal in Kathua last week, A report was filed on Monday, and the suspects were arrested a few hours later.
The woman is beaten mercilessly in a three-minute footage The woman is pulled out of her residence by her hair and beaten for three minutes on the video. The cops claim the footage shows her crying child.
She was attacked by four criminals
A formal complaint was filed on Monday, stating that the woman had been attacked and abused by four people who broke into her home with criminal intent.

It was reported that four locals of Dewal Tehsil Billawar, Kaku Ram, Ballu Ram, Happy, and Banty, had been charged with various offenses under various chapters of the Indian Penal Code, including Sections 452 (house trespassing), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of Rs 50), 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace), and 506.
