Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the concept of curses, yet Gege Akutami’s manga and subsequent anime are anything but cursed.
The anime also shatters many records, notably with the most recent prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Since this franchise debuted in March 2018, the source material has already become one of the best-selling mangas ever.
But what lies ahead for Yuji and his friends? Prepare your finest cursed moves and join us at Digital Spy as we preview the next episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen season two.
When will the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiere?
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen debuts on July 6, 2023. Along with the expanded teaser trailer you can see above, the release date in March was announced by the official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account.

The news comes after some earlier disclosures regarding the organization of the new season. At the production company TOHO‘s 10th anniversary celebration in September 2022, we learned that season two would be released in two parts or courses, each focusing on a different manga arc. Similar to the release timetable of other anime episodes like SPY x FAMILY, this split-cour strategy is expected in gaming.
Additionally, we’ve seen a preview of what those story arcs will be like, thanks to two teaser images. The latest, “The Shibuya Incident,” includes our contemporary heroes Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. The first features Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Shoko Ieiri in their Jujutsu High uniforms (suggesting a prologue arc).
