On Saturday, reports surfaced of further violence in the Maharashtra province’s Jalna district. Male protesters in Jalna threw stones and set fire to cars in an effort to get their desired Maratha Reservation. The demonstrators were violently dispersed by the police. Images depicting the bloodshed have begun to circulate online.
