Mayor of Kingstown Season 2: Plot
When the first season comes to a close, officials put an extremely violent stop to the unrest in Kingstown prison. Mike enters the prison to try to broker peace with the rioting convicts after learning that his younger brother Kyle is locked within.
It’s soon made evident that P-Dog, the leader of the revolt, has revenge for the guards’ mistreatment of the convicts in mind when he sends a letter to the authorities. Mike is therefore rendered impotent as he witnesses the execution of a jail guard.
Security troops outside the prison opened fire when the corrections officer was brutally murdered, killing hundreds of inmates and putting an end to the unrest. Mike and his brother barely make it out alive, and he goes back to his woodsy cottage where Iris is waiting for him.
The next season will begin with Mike picking up the shards of his enterprise following the devastating incident. It will be difficult for the “mayor” to restore order when the power dynamic has been disrupted and all channels of communication between law enforcement and criminal gangs have been closed.
Mike’s brother Kyle, who was also locked inside the prison during the riot and was attacked by inmates, may choose to relocate to a less chaotic area after his horrific experience. Mike will unwaveringly carry on the violent heritage left by his father and older brother, so the McLusky family will be in a completely different place in season 2 than they were in season 1.
Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 Cast
Jeremy Renner leads the cast as Mike McLusky. Dianne Wiest plays Miriam, Taylor Handley plays Kyle, Tobi Bamtefa plays Deverin “Bunny” Washington, Hugh Dillon plays Ian, and Emma Laird plays Laird (Iris).
A large number of other actors, including Derek Webster as Stevie, Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert, Pha’rez Lass as P-Dog, and Aidan Gillen as Milo Sunter, also play supporting roles.

Pha’rez Lass’s character, P-Dog, gets killed in the season 1 finale, thus it’s possible he won’t be back for more. Aidan Gillen’s Milo, who escaped from prison during the uprising, will, nevertheless, be featured more prominently going forward.
‘Mayor of Kingstown’ season 2 will likely feature several new characters, both those who return and those who are written off due to the story’s complexity and level of violence.
