Mohan Bhagwat speaks out against temple-mosque disputes in India

Mohan Bhagwat

In a significant statement, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed his disapproval of the growing number of temple-mosque disputes in the country. Addressing the issue, Bhagwat remarked, “After the construction of Ram Mandir, some people think they can become leaders of Hindus by raking up similar issues in new places.”

He strongly criticized such attempts, stating, “This is not acceptable. This cannot continue. India needs to show that we (Hindus and Muslims) can live together.”

Bhagwat’s remarks come at a time when communal harmony is being tested in various parts of the country, with disputes often leading to unrest. His call for unity emphasizes the need for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect between communities.
