Mumbai Police Receives Threat Call From Pakistani Woman, Who Crossed the Border for Love

Mumbai Police has received a threat call from an unidentified person who warned of a 26/11-like terror attack if Pakistani woman Seema Haider did not return to her country. Seema Haider, who is around 30 years old, had entered India illegally to marry her lover Sachin Meena, a 25-year-old resident of Greater Noida. The two had become friends while playing the online game PUBG and later eloped to Nepal where they married.

The threat call was made to the traffic control room of Mumbai Police on July 12 in Urdu. The caller said there would be a terror attack in Mumbai, similar to the one on November 26, 2008, and that the Uttar Pradesh government would be responsible for it. The call was made through an app and the police are trying to track down the IP address of the caller.

The Mumbai police control room received a threat call:

Seema Haider and Sachin Meena were arrested by the police regarding their illegal stay in India but were granted bail by a court in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida last week. On July 4, both Sachin and Seema confessed their love for each other in front of the media and police, urging the government to allow them to get married and stay together in India.

Seema Haider has also denied allegations of being a Pakistani spy agent the ISI has planted in India. She told Zee Media that she is deeply in love with Sachin, who has taken great care of her children ever since they first met and got married in Nepal. She also claimed she was getting death and rape threats from Pakistan and feared for her life.

Seema Haider has also changed her lifestyle after coming to India. She has embraced Hinduism, become a vegetarian, and learned to adapt to Hindu traditions and customs. Mumbai Police and the crime branch are investigating the threat call and have alerted the Uttar Pradesh Police.
