Successful Pilgrimage as Thousands Visit Holy Cave in Amarnath: According to an official statement from the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), a total of over 2 lakh pilgrims have performed darshan at the Holy Cave in Amarnath since the beginning of the Yatra on July 1.
“The statement further mentioned that 20,806 Amarnath yatris completed darshan on Sunday alone. Despite unfavorable weather conditions and downpours in various parts of the Valley, the administration and government agencies provided support, ensuring a smooth and comfortable darshan experience for the pilgrims.”
To ensure the safety and security of pilgrims and tourists during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar, conducted a security review at different checkpoints, including the Navyug Tunnel on National Highway in Kashmir.
The successful conduct of the Amarnath Yatra is a testament to the coordinated efforts of the authorities, security personnel, and the dedicated teams involved in ensuring the safety and well-being of the pilgrims.
