In a swift and calculated move, the Punjab Police initiated a sweeping operation across multiple districts within the state with the aim of apprehending notorious gangsters, including Goldy Brar, a key suspect in the high-profile murder case of singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
The operation, conducted with precision, commenced at 7 a.m. and is slated to persist until 2 p.m. Authorities have received clear directives from higher-ups to detain the suspects, with a comprehensive report of the operation set to be submitted to the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) by 5 p.m. today.
The Goldy Brar Saga Unfolds
Goldy Brar, a fugitive who had managed to evade Indian authorities, found refuge in Canada and the United States, while his associates continued to operate within the country’s borders.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) wasted no time and registered a case against Goldy Brar under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). Furthermore, several other cases in Punjab remain pending against him, adding to the urgency of his capture.

NIA’s Vigilance in Unearthing Terror-Gangster Networks
In a significant development, the probe agency released two comprehensive lists containing the names and photographs of 54 individuals. These individuals are being sought for their involvement in two cases registered last year, with the primary objective of dismantling terror-gangster networks that have plagued the nation.
