March of the Machine is the ninety-sixth expansion to the Magic card game. On April 21, 2023, it will be made available to the public.

Yuta Takahashi is honored in this collection with his Player Spotlight card, Faerie Mastermind. There will be no more “Inner Set Numbering” (a fraction like 10/250), and the collector numbers will now be four digits. Rarity information is prepended to the collector number.
A new card type hinted at in Phyrexia: All Will Be One and now fully realized, Battle finally debuted in this set.

Due to its status as a premier or micro set, the March of the Machine: The Aftermath (MAT) scene cannot be played in Standard. The set’s booster packs, appropriately titled “Epilogue,” feature cards that elaborate on Magic: The Gathering canon from the Phyrexian block and the future of the Multiverse. Yet, the set complies with the rules of the Standard format.

Exploration Of the Plot
The Standard-legal MTG set March of the Machines concludes the Phyrexian Multiverse battle (MOM). Dominaria United started the story arc, finishing with a massive Magic Multiverse alteration that will affect future sets and gameplay. After the MOM set, March of the Machine: The Aftermath (MAT) will wrap up the plot and set up future sets.
Join forces with Magic’s finest from nearly every dimension we’ve explored. The Phyrexians are methodical, but recently our heroes have gained some unexpected friends in their struggle against the Phyrexian invasion.
Elesh Norn aims to conquer the Magic Multiverse by Completing everything and everyone in the MOM set. Prerelease events will precede the digital and worldwide debuts, like the previous Phyrexian MTG sets. MOM items can be preordered and picked up at prerelease events at local game stores. MOM Kickstart Signed events are included.
