Skrillex Surprise Releases Second Album: On February 18th, Skrillex released his second album in the same amount of time as the last one. The unexpected news was broken just one day after the album Search For Fire, his first release in nine years, was made available to the public.
The American giant’s first album since 2014, Quest For Fire, was made available on streaming services on Friday night, the same day that Don’t Go Too Near was made available online for the first time.
The second full-length album, which is also available through OWSLA and Atlantic Records, is the one that leans more heavily towards the pop genre. It collaborates with artists such as Justin Bieber, Yung Lean, Bladee, Chief Keef, PinkPantheress, and Trippie Redd.

During the unveiling, attendees could purchase CDs of the record that were actually bootlegs. Skrillex’s new pop-leaning, off-kilter personal album, Don’t Get Too Near, features the producer pouring his heart and soul into each track to make something intimate and universally accessible.
