The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2: Release Date
Fans of The Misfit of Demon King Academy have been understandably excited about a second season since the idea was teased, despite the fact that there would be a long wait before any additional information was revealed. January 2023, during the Winter 2023 anime season, has been set as the premiere date for Season 2 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy.
This confirmed release date was announced at the September 24th, 2022, Aniplex Online Fest 2022. Information such as key visuals, adaptations fans can look forward to, and a spectacular trailer PV were all included in the official announcement, which is always a treat for eager followers.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2: Plot
The series composition and scripts are being handled by writer Jin Tanaka. As Season 1 of The Misfit of Demon King Academy came to a close, Anos managed to stop a war between humans and demons, despite the fact that Anos had been having a lot of trouble thanks to a royal teacher named Eldemade Dijon. Avos Dilhevia, the phony demon king, had his true identity exposed as well.
When Anos follows his curiosity, he finds himself going back in time by about 2,000 years in an attempt to learn more about the origins of the Great Spirit. The second season of the anime will most likely adapt Volume 4 of the light novel series, which is when Anos is dubbed the Demon Lord and begins to face new enemies within the Demon Academy.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2: Cast
In terms of the cast of The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Season 2 will presumably include Anos Voldigoad, Sasha Necron, Misha Necron, and others. One significant alteration, however, is that the voice actor who plays the main character in the anime will be changing.
After some scandalous yet tragic events in Suzuki’s and his wife’s private lives, the official website announced on December 10th, 2021 that Tatsuhisa Suzuki would no longer be voicing Anos. Likely influenced by the same factors, he also decided to leave his role as Ultraman Taro/Kotaro Higashi in Netflix’s Ultraman Season 2 anime.
When it was announced that Yuuichiro Umehara, the voice actor behind many beloved anime characters, would be lending his voice to Anos, the production team wasted no time in confirming the news. This was confirmed in a tweet as the only significant alteration so far:
