The Owl House Season 3 Episode 2: Release Date
If you’re like me and you can’t wait for the next episode of The Owl House, I have some bad news for you. The second half of Season 3 of The Owl House won’t air until 2023. In addition, there will only be three episodes in the final season. The first episode debuted on Saturday, and we won’t see the next two until next year.
Even though we don’t know when exactly the new episodes will drop, we do know that they’ll all be exactly 44 minutes long, making them the ideal way to wrap up the beloved series. The Disney Branded TV PR Twitter account confirmed in September that the delayed release date of 2023 was indeed permanent.
On October 15, Disney Channel and Disney XD will air the first of three reunion specials for “#TheOwlHouse.” The two 44-minute episodes chronicle Luz’s mission to free the Boiling Isles from the clutches of the evil Emperor Belos and the capricious Collector. The tweet announced that the next two episodes would be released in 2023.
A new season of the show premiered in October after the previous one concluded airing at the end of May. So, almost five months separated the two seasons. If previous seasons are any indication, we shouldn’t have to wait until March 2023 for The Owl House Season 3 Episode 2. However, we won’t know for sure until Disney makes an official announcement.
The Owl House Season 3: Plot
Even though Disney only provided a hazy synopsis for Season 3 of “The Owl House,” after watching Episode 1: “Thanks to Them,” we have a better idea of what to expect from the rest of the season. A return to the Demon Realm has been elusive for Luz [Noceda] and her companions for a long time, so they finally risk it after months of trying.
The return to the Human Realm for Luz, Amity, Hunter, Willow, and Gus marks the beginning of Season 3. Luz’s mother opens her home to her friends, but they can’t leave because the portal that brought them there has closed. The Boiling Isles may be out of reach at the moment, but that won’t stop them from trying.
To avoid spoiling Episode 1 for those who haven’t seen it, the friends figure out how to reopen the portal, but an unexpected obstacle stands in their way. A shocking death that no one saw coming is also possible, and its repercussions will undoubtedly drive the plot in the final two episodes.

Who Will Play What Role in The Upcoming Third Season of The Owl House?
Tati Gabrielle as Luz’s friend Willow, Isaac Ryan Brown as her other friend Gus, and Cissy Jones as Eda’s sister Lilith will join Sarah-Nicole Robles, Alex Hirsch, and Mae Whitman in the upcoming third season of “The Owl House.”
Luz’s mother Vee (Michaela Dietz) and Emperor Belos (Matthew Rhys) both make a return appearance.
In Season 3, Zeno Robinson plays Hunter, and Fryda Wolff plays The Collector, with Elizabeth Grullon playing Camila Noceda. Season 3 includes a number of voice actors, including Anairis Quinones as Duo the Owl and Azua and Roger Craig Smith as Jacob Hopkins, the Judge, Zoo Dad, and the Counselor. Season 2’s voice cast included a number of notable names, and the next two episodes may hold a few more surprises.

Dana Terrace is the show’s creator and executive producer. She not only directs the animated film, but also works as an animator, writer, and producer. The Owl House Season 3: Trailer
To my surprise, you’re right; there is. The trailer for Season 3 of “The Owl House” is fairly vague and doesn’t reveal too much, much like the synopsis for that season. One of the characters covers his ears at the end because he doesn’t want to be spoiled, and the conversation ends there. The trailer focuses heavily on the events of the first episode, which take place when Luz visits her mother with her newly awkward friends.
In addition, we witness Luz keeping a diary entry in which she expresses regret over the lives she has endangered. Perhaps this is something she’s been having trouble with in the most recent two episodes. Some frightening images of a giraffe and a glimpse into the demonic realm make us wish we could take them back. Where To Watch Previous Season Of The Owl House?
Being a Disney production, “The Owl House” can be viewed on the Disney+ streaming service. All of Seasons 1 and 2 are available on the streaming giant, but Season 3 has yet to premiere. Don’t forget, though, that you can watch the whole thing for nothing on YouTube.
Disney Now also has a limited number of episodes of “The Owl House,” but not all of them. You can watch the premiere of Season 3 on the site, as well as Episodes 9-12 of Season 2 and Episode 22 of Season 1 if you don’t mind being interrupted by advertisements.
