Who Were Braun Strowman’s 5 Greatest Rivals?

As a monster in WWE, Braun Strowman has done very well. His best fights have shown why, but he’s also been in some fights that weren’t very interesting. When Braun Strowman joined WWE in 2015, a lot of fans thought he was “just another big man” who would not last long. Fans thought he wouldn’t amount to anything because of that and the fact that he was made into an unstoppable singles star monster in 2016. Now, Strowman is one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE. He has reached a level of fame that no one thought was possible. As a multiple-time champion who has even been the Universal Champion, Strowman is doing things that were not expected of him at first.

1. Greatest – Roman Reigns

Whether they were fighting as members of The Shield or The Wyatt Family, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have run into each other more than once, and each time was great. Roman Reigns was a big part of making Strowman a top contender for the main event and making him seem like he couldn’t be stopped. Fans had good memories when they thought about Strowman beating up Reigns all over the RAW arena and yelling “I’m not done with you” before tipping over an ambulance with him in it. If Strowman hadn’t fought Reigns so many times, he wouldn’t be as strong as he is now.

2. Worst – Tyson Fury

Athletes who aren’t part of WWE often end up in the squared circle for cross-promotional events. Athletes like Lawrence Taylor and Floyd Mayweather have been in the ring before and done well, both in the eyes of the public and on the job. Tyson Fury, who used to be the World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, is the most recent person to join WWE. Even though Fury was a big deal in the world of boxing, his first match in WWE, against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel, did not go well. Even though Strowman’s opponent was physically strong, the match didn’t make people want to see more of their feud.

3. Worst – Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s reputation for bringing respectability back to WWE with his hard-hitting style has made him a big draw for the company. Even though his style of fighting in the ring is exciting, he has hurt more careers than he has helped because he spends so much time away from the ring. It’s hard to fight with someone who isn’t there, which Strowman found out when he was fighting Lesnar for his Universal Championship. If Strowman had beaten Lesnar, this fight could have been very good for the big man, but once Lesnar left again, he had no one else to fight.

4. Worst – Sami Zayn

People often forget how good of a wrestler Sami Zayn is because of the cowardly character he sometimes plays in the ring. However, he is one of the best in the business. Unfortunately, his early fight with Braun Strowman didn’t do either of them much good. Fans were starting to like how Strowman was billed as an unbeatable monster, but he lost to Zayn in a match where he only had ten minutes to beat his opponent. Since he ended up beating Zayn the next time they met, neither of them gained anything from this match.

5. Worst – Baron Corbin

Fans hate Baron Corbin and want to see him get beat up, so he is doing everything right. His moves in the ring aren’t the best that WWE has ever seen, and that’s where he has the most trouble as a performer. Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin have about the same amount of experience in the ring. Even though they have both been at the top for a long time, they both seemed lost in the ring together and were never able to gain enough momentum for fans to enjoy what they were doing. The less time these two spend together, the better.
