Andhra Blast Tragedy: 17 Dead, 33 Injured; Families to Receive ₹1 Crore Payout

At that time, 17 staff members passed away, along with 33 individuals who suffered serious injuries. 

An apology for something of Rs 1 crore has been revealed for family members of every person who died during the explosion at the pharmaceutical firm Essentia in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh. 17 deaths occurred and 33 were wounded during the explosion at the pharmaceutical company. The Collector of Visakhapatnam District, Harendheera Prasad, stated that an apology of Rs 1 crore will be provided to the family of every individual who died in the explosion. He stated that a group of professionals would visit the area and identify the reason for the incident.

At that point, around sixty people employed by the pharmaceutical division of the company were captured in the fire, in which case 17 staff members passed away and 33 staff members were severely wounded. Bringing up grief concerning the incident, Narendra Modi, the prime minister, has provided compensation of two lakh rupees for each member of the family who passed away and 50,000 rupees to the wounded.

According to the data, the incident occurred because of an explosion in a reactor, but this time Anakapalli SP Murali Krishna has made it clear that the blaze did not occur because of a reactor explosion. The causes of the fire are under investigation. This pharmaceutical company covers approximately forty acres of land. More than 1,000 individuals work there. The business began manufacturing in April 2019 through a loan for Rs 200 crore. It’s situated within the multi-product system special economic zone of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation.
