After 25 Years, Salman Khan and Karan Johar Team Up

Actor Salman Khan and director-producer Karan Johar are close friends and well-known names in Bollywood, although they have never collaborated on a feature-length film. Salman had a notable cameo in Karan’s 1998 directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, but the two never collaborated again after that. They still have a close relationship, though, and Salman has not appeared on Koffee with Karan.

Now, following a 25-year break, Salman Khan and Karan Johar will work together again on a feature-length movie called The Bull. The film is helmed by Shershaah director Vishnuvardhan and produced by Karan’s Dharma Productions, with the actor playing the lead role.

Here is a tweet which confirms that The Bull will be produced by Karan Johar:

The Bull’s crew released a statement claiming that Salman Khan will play a paramilitary officer in the true story-based movie. “The film will portray the terrifying incidents of the November 3, 1988, terrorist attacks in Malé, Maldives, known locally as Badi Buraasfathi or Gun [Explosive] Thursday.”
