Aaron Taylor-Johnson Talks With the People Who Make James Bond Movies: Aaron Taylor-Johnson has reportedly met with producers of the James Bond films amid rumours that he is in talks to replace Daniel Craig as 007.
The Hollywood actor, who is 32 years old, sat down with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli to discuss the possibility of taking over the role of the suave spy after Daniel Craig steps down from the role in the film “No Time to Die.”
Puck News cites anonymous sources as saying that the meeting was “very successful,” but these same sources add that nothing has been officially confirmed, and it is unclear what the subsequent steps will be.
A month ago, it was reported that Aaron had filmed a version of the iconic 007 gunshot opening as part of a “top secret screen test” for the part at Pinewood Studios. The test was reportedly classified as top secret.
According to a film source: “Aaron has so impressed his superiors that he was given the opportunity to film a famous gun barrel teaser scene, which is something that all of the Bond actors are required to do. Because of this move, he moves one step closer to finalising a deal.
“The heads of the company were really blown away by his one-of-a-kind blend of intense acting and his impressive back catalogue of action films,” the bosses said.
The actor Lucien Laviscount, who plays the heartthrob Alfie in the Emily in Paris series on Netflix, is rumoured to be in the running for the role of James Bond after impressing producer Barbara Broccoli with his performance in the series.
The producers are looking to cast a star who can play the role of the iconic spy for the next 15 years, and the 30-year-old actor would be a good fit to replace Daniel Craig in the role of the spy.
The following is what one source shared with the newspaper Mail on Sunday: “Lucien is the perfect candidate in every way. Since he started working on ‘Emily in Paris approximately eighteen months ago, he has gained a significant number of new admirers due to the fact that he is an exceptionally handsome and talented actor.
