Parvesh Shukla was detained and arrested under the National Security Act. On Wednesday afternoon, the Sidhi district administration deployed bulldozers to demolish the house of suspected BJP leader Pravesh Shukla.

A day after a video of a tribal man urinating on his face went viral, Home Minister Narottam Mishra ordered the demolition of illegal properties of BJP leader Parvesh Shukla.

The video went viral on Tuesday night and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan immediately issued an arrest warrant for the accused Shukla. He was picked up by the Sidhi police the same night and is currently being interrogated.
