In a major development, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced the establishment of detention camps in Mumbai to address the issue of Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators. This move is aimed at curbing illegal migration and ensuring adherence to Indian laws.

Additionally, orders have been passed in Delhi to verify and identify illegal Bangladeshi migrant children enrolled in Delhi schools. The government has also declared that birth certificates will not be issued to illegal Bangladeshi migrants under any circumstances.
