The Perpetrators Show No Mercy

The victims have been identified as Rashid Ahmed (54), a resident of Gopalpur village in the Maharajganj police station area, and his younger son, Shoaib (22). Rashid Ahmed was known for his trade in readymade clothes, a business he operated from his shop in the Sardhaan market.
Tragically, the father and son’s bid for survival proved futile, as the assailants managed to close in and deliver fatal shots to their heads and chests. The duo succumbed to their injuries on the spot, leaving their grieving family and community in shock.
A History of Disputes
Local sources reveal a history of disputes between the deceased and another clothing shop located opposite their store. Four years ago, tensions had flared over customer solicitations, resulting in a bitter feud. In the months leading up to this horrifying incident, additional altercations had occurred, including physical confrontations that led to legal consequences for individuals from both sides.
In fact, the deceased’s son had filed a complaint against the opposing party with the local Police Station President, Santosh Kumar. These unresolved disputes may have played a role in the tragic events that unfolded on that ill-fated morning.

Swift Police Action
Following the heinous crime, Mohammad Arif, the son of the deceased, alleged that Dinesh, accompanied by his wife Nirmala, arrived at the scene. Dinesh is said to have incited his three sons, Pankaj, Pradeep, and Pawan, to commit the senseless act of violence. Subsequently, the sons opened fire, leading to the demise of Rashid Ahmed and Shoaib.
In response to this shocking incident, the Superintendent of Police (SP) assembled four investigative teams to swiftly bring the culprits to justice. As of now, the authorities have arrested the husband and wife, Dinesh and Nirmala, for their involvement in the crime. The search for the remaining three suspects, Pankaj, Pradeep, and Pawan, is ongoing.
In a move to establish the rule of law and deter criminal activities, the police wasted no time and initiated the demolition of the murderers’ illegal residence the very day after the incident occurred.
