Renowned UPSC educator Avadh Ojha joins AAP to champion education reform

Date:

On Monday, December 2, renowned UPSC coaching instructor Avadh Ojha officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and senior leader Manish Sisodia.

Ojha cited his commitment to improving the education sector in Delhi as his primary motivation for entering politics and aligning with AAP.

Expressing his gratitude to the party leadership, Ojha emphasized the transformative role of education in shaping families, societies, and nations. “Education is the soul of every family, society, and nation. My main aim of entering politics is the development of education,” he stated.

Welcoming Ojha, Kejriwal highlighted AAP’s ongoing efforts in education and expressed optimism about the educator’s contribution. “AAP is deeply invested in strengthening education, and Ojha’s joining the party will further bolster these efforts. Ultimately, this will contribute to the strengthening of our nation,” Kejriwal said.

Manish Sisodia hailed Ojha’s decision to join AAP as a significant moment for the party, recognizing his impactful work in the education sector.

“If I had to choose between politics and working in education, I would always choose education,” said Sisodia, adding that Ojha shares a similar dedication to advancing this crucial area.

Ojha’s entry into AAP comes as the party continues to prioritize education reforms as a cornerstone of its governance model.

His addition is seen as a strategic move to further enhance AAP’s credibility in the education space, particularly as it seeks to expand its influence in the national political arena.
