Rishabh Pant Accident: After an Accident Near Roorkee a Cricketer Was Taken to the Hospital and is Said to Be Safe

Rishabh Pant Accident: Rishabh Pant was driving from Delhi to Roorkee, his hometown when he lost control of his car and hit a divider. Police sources said that the car caught fire right away and was charred in a matter of minutes.

Rishabh Pant, a wicketkeeper, and the batsman were in an accident early Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. His car crashed into road barriers and caught fire afterward. Pant was on his way from Delhi to his hometown of Roorkee when the accident happened. He is said to be fine.

Pant was first taken to a private hospital in Roorkee but was later sent to a hospital in Dehradun. Police sources say he has head injuries and a torn ligament in his right ankle.

A statement from the state government says that Pant’s car got into an accident around 5:30 a.m. near Mohammadpur Jat, which is in the Mangalore police station area in the Haridwar district. Soon, the 108 ambulance and local police took him to the Saksham Hospital in Roorkee. He was sent to Dehradun from there.

Police sources said that Rishabh Pant was the one driving the car and that the accident happened around 5:30 in the morning. Sources say that Pant lost control of the car and hit the divider, which caused him to be thrown out of the windscreen. The car caught fire right away and was blackened in a few minutes. When the fire trucks got there, they put out the fire.

“After getting information from the officers about how cricketer Rishabh Pant was hurt in a car accident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told the officers to make sure the cricketer gets the best care possible. CM prayed for his quick recovery and said that the state government would pay for all of his care. “If needed, an air ambulance will also be available,” the state government said in a statement.

 

“We will pray for Rishabh Pant. He is safe now, thank goodness. I hope @RishabhPant17 gets better quickly. “Get well soon, Champ,” wrote VVS Laxman, who used to play cricket for India. Harsha Bhogle, an Indian cricket commentator and journalist, said that he has been thinking about Rishabh Pant all morning and is praying hard that he is okay and will get better soon.

“Rishabh Pant was involved in an accident between Manglaur and Narcan in the Haridwar district. After initial care at a hospital in Roorkee, he has been transferred to a facility in Dehradun. A thought for Rishabh. Wishing Skip a speedy recovery, the Delhi Capitals’ official Twitter account wished him well.
