Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, founder of Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), dispelled widespread death rumors on Wednesday (5 July), saying he is still alive and based in New York. Aditya Raj Kaul, a journalist, reportedly learned the information from Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, a terrorist with the Khalistani separatist group, via a message.

The founder of SFJ, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, was rumored to have died in a car crash in the United States on Wednesday evening, according to unsubstantiated reports and videos on Twitter. Some news channels flashed the news, and news websites also relaid it. There was still no official notification that Pannu had passed away. However, on Thursday (July 6), many people rushed to social media to dispute reports of Pannu’s death.
