Let’s discover about Lisa Cink, who is the wife of pro golfer Stewart Cink and a cancer survivor. With all the action going on at the Charles Schwab Challenge, fans are glued to their screens to see everything.
But the Senior PGA Championship is also watched by a lot of people, both on and off the course, and not just because it is a big game. If golf legend John Daly had been in the event, it would have been even more exciting.
But even though his retirement was a surprise, golf fans are very excited to see their favorite players, especially Stewart Cink, move through the holes. The golf pro’s unexpected success got him a lot of attention.
But people are more interested in hearing about his wife, who is his biggest fan. The person who helped Stewart Cink become successful.
Who Is Stewart Cink’s Wife?
Stewart Cink is married to Lisa Cink, and they got married in 1993. We think they met at Florence High School in Alabama, where they both went to school. In fact, Cink went out with a few of Lisa’s friends before he and Lisa started dating.
After high school, they went to different colleges. Cink went to Georgia Tech, and Lisa went to Auburn, but they have both said that this is when they realized they were more than just friends. Lisa eventually went to Georgia Tech, and when they were both 20 years old, they got married. Together, they now have two boys, Connor and Reagan.

Stewart Cink’s Wife’s Reason for His Success
The group for the Senior PGA Championship is full of legends with great records. The event is currently being led by golf stars like Pádraig Harrington and Steve Stricker, giving fans the time of their lives. But American pro-Stewart Ernest Cink seems to be their biggest threat at the game.
During his best years, the PGA Tour star has won many awards for his work. He made his mark on the game when he beat the GOAT, Tom Watson, in a four-hole playoff at the 2009 Open Championship!
The past champion is very skilled; that much is clear. But he also has to give a lot of credit to his family and caddie for his great accomplishments. He’s lucky that both parts are played by the same person: his wife, Lisa Cink.

Lisa has been helping her husband’s golf career by cheering for him off the course and carrying his bag at professional events. Since the RBC Heritage, the humanitarian and business owner has been the golf star’s caddy. Because of this, he has been getting a lot of attention from fans.
The two of them work really well together, and they are great friends both on and off the field. Cink also said that having his wife handle him has a lot of advantages. He revealed:
“She’ll make a deal with me if I get a super-long putt inside three feet; she says I get a peck on the cheek.”
Other than the cheesy side of it, Lisa is also well aware of Stewart’s most significant weaknesses and strengths. And so she can easily guide him in the best way possible during stressful times mid-tournament.
How Long Have They Been in a Relationship?
Some people say that the best couples meet in heaven. But stories say that Lisa and Stewart ran into each other at Alabama’s Florence High School. After high school, though, they went to different schools. Then they understood that their relationship was more than just friendship.
Soon, Lisa chose to move to Georgia Tech so she could be with the person she loved. They got married when they were 20 years old, in 1993. The Cinks have two boys, Connor and Reagan, who both like their dad’s job as golfer.
Not to mention, Reagan has also been his father’s caddie at a few games. In fact, the golf star won his first event in 10 years at the Safeway Open while his son held his clubs.

A Terrible Time in the Cinks’ Lives
With his career taking off, Cink was ready to use his skills to take over the world of golf. But he had no idea that a health problem for his wife would be a personal shock for him. In 2016, the player and his family found out that Lisa had breast cancer, which was in its fourth stage.
The couple was going through a very hard time. Notably, the player had to drop out of the Wells Fargo Championship and finally had to cancel his PGA tour in 2016.
Lisa’s cancer was getting worse, but after almost nine rounds of treatment, she started to feel better and was able to beat it. Everyone was surprised when the woman came back strong to caddy for Cink at PCA’s Father/Son Challenge in December 2016.
Stewart Cink is still in third place on the Charles Schwab rankings as of right now. And his wife is all in to help the player by giving him the best advice and love she can:
Thanks @PGATOUR! @lisacink and I are touched by the show of support today. What a great family to be a part of! #pinkribbons
