The victims have been transported to Somnath Gharge SP Hospital in Raigad.
Specifics of the Mishap
On Monday morning, a container reportedly toppled on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, crossed the divider, and crashed into five vehicles.

The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the Khopoli region of the district when the container driver lost control of the wheels and overturned the truck, hitting five cars traveling in the other direction.
Police reported that the container had been traveling from Pune to Mumbai when it had “lost control due to high speed,” crossed into oncoming traffic, and flipped over.
