651 people embrace Hinduism, leave Christianity in Chhattisgarh

On January 1, 2025, over 651 people in Chhattisgarh’s Shakti district converted to Hinduism, marking a significant event as they left Christianity behind. BJP leader Prabal Pratap welcomed them warmly into the Sanatan Dharma by washing their feet and honoring their return.

It is believed that these individuals had been converted to Christianity through inducements several years ago, but have now chosen to return to their original faith.

This development highlights a turning point in the region’s religious dynamics, emphasizing unity and the resilience of Sanatan Dharma.
