Scary footage from Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi area shows a youngster attacked by a pack of stray dogs. The youngster was struck by the strays in a tiny alley, and a video of the incident went viral on social media and ‘X’ (previously Twitter).
The video shows that the dogs chased the youngster before recording the incident. But the strays quickly encircle the youngster and begin biting him viciously.
A couple who had just reached the end of the lane turned around after hearing the child’s cries. When a woman armed with a stick finally arrives, the five dogs mauling the toddler flee.
The child makes a beeline for the woman who came to his rescue when the dogs go—the boy sobs and clings to the mom. Until then, the community had gathered in disbelief after hearing of the attack on the boy.

The youngster is in the hospital and is reportedly in a condition of shock. He is getting therapy while he recovers from the dog bites.

The danger posed by strays
In recent years, allegations of stray dog attacks on children and tales of packs of dogs attacking children have surfaced in various sections of the country.
One of the most frightening events included a little kid (just five years old) who was mauled to death by a group of stray dogs in Hyderabad. The father of the attacked child worked as a security guard at the building.
