Swati Maliwal Sleeps Outside Hospital After Being Denied Meeting Delhi Rape Victim!!

Date:

After being barred from addressing the youngster who had been sexually abused, Swati Maliwal, head of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), sat on a dharna at the hospital. The minor’s pregnancy is the product of months of sexual assault. A government employee and his wife were detained in Delhi on Monday for sexually assaulting a kid.

I’ve been waiting all day to meet the survivor and her loved ones, but the Delhi police still haven’t permitted me to do so. Although NCPCR was permitted, DCW was not. I have no intention of leaving until they let me meet the sole survivor.

The head of the DCW expressed interest in knowing if “all possible help” was being provided and if “proper treatment” was being administered. The two suspects have been named Premoday Khakha, 51, and Seema Rani, 50.

Two people have been detained on charges of sexual assault involving a minor. DCP (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said, “One of them is Premoday Khakha, 51, a Deputy Director in the Department of Women and Child Development of GNCT, and the other accused is his wife, Seema Rani, 50.”

The police claim that between October 2020 and February 2021, the minor resided with the accused in Burari after her father’s death, a Delhi government official. On Monday, the Delhi government suspended the officer being investigated for raping a kid.

An official order released by the Delhi Government said, “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of Rule 10 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules, 1965, Premoday Khakha, Assistant Director is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.”
