The victims of this tragic event were identified as Manpreet Singh from Kothe Ramsar (Muktsar), Rohit from Gidderbaha, Harpinder Singh, Amandeep Singh, and Nanak Singh, all from Bathinda. Sources within the police department disclosed that there had been a verbal altercation between the two groups in Bathinda before they started their ill-fated journey towards Faridkot.
