Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Daughter Accuses Him Of Abuse And Neglect
A woman posing as Seerat Kaur Mann, the 23-year-old daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, made a number of accusations against her father in a rumoured video message that went viral on social media on Saturday. The message, which NH has not verified, was posted online.
The Aam Aadmi Party, which controls Punjab’s government, reportedly declined to comment since it views this as a private concern. Kaur can be heard on the tape accusing Mann of neglecting and emotionally and physically assaulting her mother, Inderpreet Kaur, who was Mann’s former wife. She further asserts that Doshan, her 19-year-old brother, was “thrown out” and denied entry to the CM’s home late at night.

Kaur begins by saying, “I am Seerat Kaur Mann. I am the daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. In this video, I am making it clear that I will refer to him as Mr Mann or CM Saab. He has long ago lost the right to hear Papa from me.”
Although it’s unclear why she decided to make these claims at this specific moment, the non-profit NCMIndia Council For Men Affairs has stepped up to refute the video statement, saying that NCMIndia has no special ties to Mann or his party but hinting that Kaur’s comments might be related to Mann and his second wife’s impending pregnancy.

The organization further asserted in a post on X that Mann’s first wife filed for divorce in 2015 and took their two kids with her.
Kaur can also be heard in the film saying, “Until today, my mother has chosen to stay silent and we, his children, have not spoken. But now it appears that our silence was misunderstood as our weakness. A person, who cannot take responsibility for his children, how will he take responsibility for the entire Punjab?”
