On Wednesday, the CCB arrested five people they believed were planning terrorist attacks. Syed Suhel, Umar, Janid, Mudasir, and Zahid are the names given to them.
The group may have planned to detonate an explosive device in the Bengaluru area. All five met the terrorists while housed in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail for their roles in a 2017 murder case. The team revealed in a statement that CCB had also seized explosives.
