Always Well Looked After and Well Protected’ David Warner Feels ‘Great’ to Be Back in India!!

The Australian cricket team has arrived in India for their final World Cup warmup before the 2023 tournament. David Warner, a veteran Australian opener, took to his official Instagram account to convey his team’s gratitude upon arriving in India. He added his gratitude to GMR Aerocity for their smooth transportation.

With his inconsistent play in the preceding rubber against South Africa, Warner will be one of the few players most scrutinized in the lead-up to the ODI series. The left-hander regularly threw away starts while making just two fifty-plus scores in five innings.

The five-time World Champions will be eager to get back into the swing of things after blowing a 2-0 series lead in South Africa. Batters like Alex Carey and Marcus Stoinis in the middle order will be under scrutiny after a string of poor performances against the Proteas. Australia will be able to play a full-strength offense and should be in good shape with Steve Smith back in the lineup.
