Delhi police prepares list of 16,000 suspected Bangladeshis

Under directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Lieutenant Governor, Delhi Police has identified 16,000 suspected illegal Bangladeshi nationals residing in the city. Efforts are underway to deport these individuals back to Bangladesh.

During the identification process, several suspects were found in possession of Indian documents, including voter ID cards, Aadhaar cards, and documents from states like West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, and Delhi. Authorities are conducting thorough verification of these documents to ascertain their authenticity.

This action is part of a broader initiative to address illegal immigration and strengthen the nation’s internal security.
