Delhi Student Sexual Assault Case: CM Kejriwal Suspends Teachers, Orders Probe!!

Date:

According to official sources, on Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ordered the suspension of teachers and the vice principal at a government school in the Shahbad Dairy area of northwest Delhi for failing to report the heinous crime to the police.

The Delhi government has appointed a panel to look into the incident.

The alleged event occurred in April during a school-sponsored summer camp, according to the police. According to the police, all suspects were children brought before a child protection commission.

The head of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal, has notified the police and the school administration that they must take action in response to the event.

Maliwal wrote in Hindi on X, “Two boys, ages 12 and 13, were sexually assaulted by classmates at their government school in the Shahbad Dairy area.” This is a highly repulsive and disturbing subject. How are young people being influenced to adopt such a criminal worldview? A First Report of the Incident has been filed, and the police and the school have been notified. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost loved ones.

Specifically Regarding Sexual Assault Incidents

Police said two charges have been registered concerning the sexual assault allegations of the two boys, ages 12 and 13, against five to six classmates.

Class 8 student victim, 13, claims classmates sexually abused him in a park during a summer program in April. According to authorities, they also threatened him if he told anyone.

He hid his fear and did not tell anyone about it. He notified his teachers when the boys started bothering him a few days ago. They warned him not to tell anyone about it.

On Sunday, the victim’s parents called the police after being notified by their son.

It further stated that the 12-year-old boy had accused the same students of sexually assaulting him.

He claimed he was sexually abused in the school bathroom during summer camp. The DCW said the accused pupils threatened him to keep quiet about the incident.

He also claims that, roughly 16 days ago, another student attempted sexual assault on him when he was using the restroom. According to the Commission, he also said that he had told two of his professors about the incident in July and August but that they had advised him not to discuss it with anybody.

In other words, what do the experts say?

The government of Delhi issued a statement calling the purported occurrence at the school’s summer camp unfortunate.

A detailed investigation into the matter has been initiated, and an inquiry committee has been established. Let the legal process play out. The statement warned, “severe action will be taken against any teachers or staff who were aware of this issue but failed to report it to higher authorities.”

The Delhi administration will act swiftly and firmly on this subject. We can promise you that. We seek to pioneer a new model for schooling in the nation that places a premium on cultivating morally upright citizens. It warned that such criminal behavior would not be condoned and would be met with severe punishment.
