Dunki Box Office Collection: SRK’s Film Sees Good Jump On Day 12!!

Another exciting weekend is being had by fans of “Dunki,” starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, in theaters. The weekend saw the movie pick up steam once more after a minor drop in ticket sales during the weekdays. The movie achieved a double-digit score in India on December 31, 2023. During its twelve-day run in theaters, which fell on New Year’s Day, Dunki made approximately Rs 9.25 crore net in India. SRK’s first blockbuster of the year, Pathaan (Rs 8.55 crore), is surpassed by this amount, even though it is noticeably less than his last picture, Jawan (Rs 16.25 crore on its second Monday). Pathaan eventually grossed Rs 1,000 crore globally. The makers are claiming that Dunki has earned 400 crores till day 12 worldwide.

In the Hindi market on Monday, the comedy-drama saw an overall occupancy of 30.80%. At first, the movie only had a 12.04 percent occupancy rate in the Hindi market during the morning shows. Nevertheless, the percentages steadily rose throughout the day, peaking at 34.14 in the afternoon and 46.26 in the evening programs. However, during the night screenings, the proportion decreased somewhat and was 30.74.

On December 21, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” was released independently. The movie is still doing well at the box office even though Prabhas’ “Salaar,” which came out on December 22, is posing fierce opposition.

As it enters its second week of its theatrical run, “Dunki” is playing to rave reviews. On Sunday, December 31, there was a notable increase in the movie’s box office receipts. The movie is reported to have made Rs 12 crore net at the domestic box office on Day 11, based on early trade estimates.

This brings ‘Dunki’s’ 11-day total revenue in India to Rs 188.22 crore. On December 31, the occupancy rate for the movie was 38.12%. ‘Dunki’s’ marks indicate that the movie has made Rs 361.30 crore worldwide till day 11.
