In a press release, the company said that all of the games coming out in the next couple of years are “groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry,” like GTA 6.
Take-Two thinks that these releases will help it “achieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow” during its fiscal year 2025 and keep that level through the next year.
Research by IGN shows that Take-Two’s yearly net bookings are usually around $3 billion. If the company wants to grow that much in the coming years, it must make some serious plans.
Since the fiscal year 2025 sounds like 12 months, it’s possible that GTA 6 will be out before March 2025.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told GamesIndustry.biz that the company has a good chance of reaching its goals.
“As you know, it’s exceedingly rare that we talk about out years. And when we do, it’s because we have a high degree of confidence. It’s a reflection of a pipeline we’ve been investing in for years. We’re beginning to see that come to fruition in fiscal 24, and then in fiscal 25, we expect to see some great successes.”
