Murder Suspect After Burned Body of Teenage Girl Discovered at Brick Kiln in Rajasthan

Date:

A 14-year-old girl was brutally murdered in Bhilwara, sending shockwaves throughout Rajasthan and spreading anger during a heated political battle in the run-up to the state’s upcoming elections.

On Wednesday, authorities in Bhilwara discovered the girl’s burnt remains in a brick kiln. The crime was found this morning when the girl and her mother went outside to pasture goats. According to reports, she vanished after becoming separated from her mother.

After she failed to return home, the locals and her loved ones spent the night searching for her before discovering her body in a brick kiln on Thursday morning. In the still-smoldering wreckage, police found human bones, a silver anklet, and a pair of shoes.

The girl was slain, and police believe she was gang-raped first. Three locals were detained and are currently being questioned by authorities.

Hundreds of locals flocked to the streets angrily, calling for justice and an immediate arrest. He reported the girl missing yesterday, and the police arrived late and demanded to see her identification and birth certificate, he said.

As political tensions rose in advance of this year’s elections in Rajasthan, BJP leaders, including a former minister, traveled to the scene and joined the protest.

In light of recent crimes against women and girls in Rajasthan, the BJP has criticized the state’s ruling Congress party and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

A girl was shot on July 14 in Kaurali, doused with acid, and thrown down a well. The cops allegedly ignored his family’s report, they said.

Chief Minister Gehlot fired back at his detractors by pointing to crime figures, saying that in BJP-controlled Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, more women are murdered and victimized.

He also mentioned that Assam, Delhi, and Haryana are the three safest states in the country.
