On Tuesday morning, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir conducted a coordinated operation in the Sindhara neighborhood of Poonch, killing four militants.
Yesterday night, at about 11:30 p.m., security forces began their first encounter, prompting the deployment of drones and other night monitoring equipment.

At first light today, the security forces and militants resumed their fierce firefight from the night before. Troops from the J&K Police, the Indian Army’s Special Forces, and the Rashtriya Rifles took part in the operation.
