Protesters in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, Churu, and Udaipur have taken to the streets in large numbers, calling for the prompt administration of justice and the apprehension of those responsible for the unfortunate event. The supporters have threatened a state-level walkout and called a bandh in Jaipur.

In response to the horrific incident, Governor Kalraj Mishra has instructed the police to take firm and efficient action against the offenders, highlighting the necessity of maintaining peace and order in the state. The gruesome murder of Gogamedi has been lamented by both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with BJP state president CP Joshi stressing the need to apprehend those causing disturbance as soon as possible.
