Early Years Of Sandeep Lamichhane

Lamichhane was born in Nepal’s Syangja region, in Aruchaur. Having grown up idolizing Australian spinner Shane Warne and Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, he relocated to the Chitwan district to train at the Chitwan Cricket Academy, which is headed by former captain Raju Khadka. When Lamichhane was 14 years old, Nepal’s coach Pubudu Dasanayake noticed him for the first time. He asked him to ball in the nets, and as a result, he was chosen for the national under-19 training camp.
