Maharashtra: Shinde Sena MLA Kishor Patil’s Workers Beat Journalist Investigating Minor Girl’s Rape & Murder!!!
The guys can be seen pouring blows and kicking the journalist in broad daylight on Thursday (August 10) in Pachora, Jalgaon, at what is said to have been the demand of MLA Kishor Patil of the Shiv Sena camp of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
A video of an alleged assault on journalist Sandeep Mahajan by supporters of MLA Kishor Patil has gone viral.
A severe beating
The journalist is dragged off his scooter and pinned to the ground in the footage from the event. The men beat him up and repeatedly kicked him in the head.
The journalist desperately tries to protect himself from the onslaught of MLA supporters. They continued beating him until he could hardly stand, and then they left, leaving the journalist lying in the middle of the road.

Had spoken out against the case and asked pertinent questions
According to the reports, the journalist had questioned MLA Kishor Patil and CM Eknath Shinde about the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl and had called for justice in the case.
In addition, the MLA allegedly verbally harassed the journalist over the phone before his followers brutally assaulted him in broad daylight.
The Marathi Patrakar Parishad has condemned the attack on the journalist.
Journalists in Maharashtra were represented by the Marathi Patrakar Parishad, who issued a statement expressing their disapproval of the incident.
Word on the street is that Pachora journalist Sandeep Mahajan was attacked today by thugs affiliated with Shinde group MLA Kishore Patil.
Marathi Journalist Parishad, Digital Media Parishad, and the Anti-Journalist Attack Action Committee issued strong statements condemning MLA Kishore Patil’s actions. The Chief Minister was urged to take severe action against Kishore Patil.

Confrontation follows
Congress and other opposition parties in Maharashtra issued statements in response. Srinivas BV, leader of the Youth Congress, spoke out against the violence by posting a video online.

According to Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray camp (UBT) spokesman Saamna, the journalist was attacked and intimidated, who also tweeted the incident’s footage.
