A big fire that started in a godown in the Jorabat area of Assam’s Kamrup-Metro district early on Wednesday morning destroyed properties valued at many lakhs of rupees.
A plastic carton factory caught fire
A plastic carton godown in the 14th Mile neighborhood, close to Jorabat, caught fire, according to the police.

Immediately, the fire department responded
Local law enforcement and firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the fires, but several lakhs of rupees worth of property was destroyed. No one was hurt in the event that was reported.
