Vande Bharat Railway Coach Caught Fire in Madhya Pradesh

On its way to Delhi from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, the Vande Bharat Express was involved in a fire on Monday morning. There was an immediate halt to the train after the C 14 coach caught fire due to a fire in the battery box.

After the incident, the train was stopped at the Kurwai Kethora station. Images from the scene showed the coach on fire and others attempting to put it out. Passengers at the Kurwai Kethora station may be waiting for the train in other images.

No one on board is in danger. Fortunately, nobody got hurt. Only the Battery Box has caught fire. Indian Railways said in a statement that the train would be sent out after inspection.

Twenty to twenty people were riding in the coach, all promptly relocated. A railway official reported that the fire was put out at 07:58 hrs, meaning the fire crews had been on the scene on time.
