Regarding the Celebration of Pakistani Freedom
This year marks Pakistan’s 77th anniversary of independence. After the partition of India in 1947, a new nation in Southeast Asia emerged. India’s independence from British domination occurred in 1947, and on August 15, the country celebrates its newfound freedom.
Pakistan was split into West Pakistan and East Pakistan at the time of the partition. As a result of internal strife, East Pakistan won its independence from Pakistan in 1971 and established the independent nation of Bangladesh.
