On the night of July 24/25, BSF personnel in J&K stopped a Pakistani narcotics smuggler trying to cross the border near Ramgarh.

The PRO of the BSF in Jammu told ANI that in addition to the body of the Pakistani smuggler, four packs of suspected narcotics (weighing around 4 kgs) were seized. The area is currently being searched much more thoroughly.

Two suspected members of the terrorist group LeT were caught at Chak Tapper Kreeri in the wee hours of the morning with a cache of weapons and ammunition, and a charge was filed against them under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Arms Act.
