Alert for Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms over the Next Four Days!!

The Meteorological Department has issued a crucial alert regarding heavy rainfall expected in Himachal Pradesh over the next four days. Under the influence of active monsoon conditions, the region is anticipated to experience intensified rainfall activity, including isolated spells of heavy to very heavy rainfall.

The districts of Chamba, Kangra, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Solan, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Sirmaur are particularly susceptible to these weather conditions, as stated in a press release from the MeT Department.

Starting from July 14, the ongoing rainfall activity is predicted to escalate in the low and mid-hill districts, persisting for the subsequent four to five days. Residents and authorities in these areas are advised to exercise caution and prepare for potential impacts caused by heavy rains:
